REINTERPRETATION OF A LOVE SONG
The name Faux Bands carries layered meaning. A nod to cover bands. A respect for reinterpretation. A way to honor influence without imitation. Much like my music, Faux Bands is about taking what I love and offering my version—quietly original, never derivative.
I’m Breahn, Co-founder and Creative Director. I grew up in the Atlanta area with music always around me. I was humming melodies before I could speak, then teaching myself how to sing through hours alone in my room—starting with Disney songs and slowly finding my own voice. Music, for me, has always been about feeling first, technique second, and making something familiar feel personal.
As I grew, so did my sense of style. But I never felt drawn to loud graphics, shock value, or designs that tried too hard. I wanted pieces that felt effortless. Subtle. Thoughtful. The kind of shirt that finishes a look without taking it over.
That instinct became Faux Bands.
